It should be long lasting. The fold should be effortless, graceful, and quick. You should be able to point at any feature and think, "Was that delightful? Did it bring me a calm sense of Zen? It should wear in, not out. It should be sturdy. The designer should see through glasses that only see minimal, inexpensive solutions to our problems.
